Life always puts obstacles in our way, but over time, we understand that they are gifts—opportunities to grow and truly know ourselves.

Five years ago, Parra Drums Co. had an incredibly successful showcase at NAMM Show 2020, completely changing the brand’s vision for growth. I returned to Venezuela excited to start a new chapter in this adventure I began over 18 years ago, but then the pandemic hit and shook the industry. Two weeks later, I had some devastating health news.

At that moment, I felt like the ground had disappeared beneath me, but I realized that the only thing that truly belongs to me is my ability to create sound from a unique perspective. I feel like I was born to do this.

After my recovery, the U.S. approved my "extraordinary ability" visa, I decided to emigrate to Texas.  Now, five years later, after facing my fears and obstacles in their purest form - I am beyond proud to announce that as of 2025, Parra Drums Co. is back and better than ever!
