The BLEND series design reflects a deep mastery of how wood shapes sound, much like a chef carefully curates ingredients for a perfectly balanced dish. My journey began with North American maple, whose high glucose content naturally softens overtones, producing a warm, sweet resonance. This glucose influences the wood’s vibrational properties, much like tannins shape the character of wine, adapting to its environment.
By combining woods with distinct cellular structures, BLEND drums achieve tonal harmony, offering musicians a sensory experience where sound, texture, and subconscious perception merge into a symphony crafted for the human experience.

Inspired by my experience as a chocolate-making hobbyist, this drum design blends woods with a story as rich and complex as the finest chocolate.
North American Maple, soft and sweet like cocoa butter, delivers the first clear, enveloping note. Mahogany, balanced like Criollo cocoa, mediates between Maple and Wenge, an exotic and tannic wood like Forastero cocoa, bitter, dark, and powerful.
Together, these woods create a symbiotic relationship, bringing to life a unique and balanced sound.
